The Czech fencing representative of the Olympics de Janeiro preferred playing fair to winning. The referee gave a point to Beran, who was losing 3-5, but Beran admitted his thigh was touched. In the end, he lost 6-8 and dropped out in the first round, but with honour and the knowledge that he did not cheat. This deserves credit!
